While on the road, it is very important to regularly maintain your tires and make sure they're inflated correctly. If your tires are underinflated or overinflated, they'll develop irregular tread wear and become prone to overheating and blowing out. The TireMinder Smart TPMS helps protect your investment and keep your family safe by monitoring your tires and alerting you of any signs of danger before disaster strikes.
This TPMS includes 6 flow through sensors that let you individually monitor each tire on your application for changes in pressure and temperature. The flow through design allows you to inflate or deflate your tires without having to remove the sensors. These sensors are able to work on rubber, steel, chrome, or nickel valve stems. Every 6 seconds, they will check the pressure and temperature again, and use Bluetooth to send that information directly to your smartphone app.
The TireMinder 2.0 app is free to download and use. For Apple smartphones and devices, it's compatible with models iPhone 7 and iPad 7 and newer. You can also use Apple CarPlay or Android Auto to display the details of your tire on your car's dashboard. For Android smartphones, it's compatible with model Android 4.4 and newer. When using the app you will need to have the Bluetooth adapter in operation within 10 feet, as it is crucial for helping to bridge the transmission between the sensors and your phone.
The smartphone app will provide you with visual and audible cues to warn you of dangerous changes in tire pressure and tire temperature, as well as alert you of changes with the monitor battery, sensor battery, and sensor signal. And even if your smartphone battery dies, the Bluetooth adapter will still continue to provide you with those alerts. Before you begin setup, make sure the Bluetooth adapter has been charged and all batteries have been installed. Then download the app on your smartphone and connect to Bluetooth.
Select your RV or trailer configuration or the locations of the tires you want to monitor. Then select one tire location, install a sensor on the corresponding tire on your RV or trailer, and the current PSI will automatically appear on the app. With the purchase of additional sensors (TM66FR - sold separately), you can monitor up to 22 tires on 8 different vehicles, which is perfect for a fleet. Sensors can be added, moved, deleted, or replaced at any point, even after initial installation.
You can set the tire pressure in psi, Bar , and KPa . If you choose psi, you can set the tire pressure anywhere from 0 psi to 199 psi. As for the temperature, you're able to switch between degrees F and degrees C, and the system will alert you if the temperature exceeds 167 degrees F. With the app, you are also able to disconnect and reconnect to different vehicles, RVs, or trailers. This is useful for those who switch between different applications, such as a Class A motorhome owner who sometimes tows a car.
This repeater helps improve signal strength and range of the sensors. It has dual Hi-Db antennas that let the booster cut through signal interference coming from wireless electronic devices used in surrounding automobiles. It also ensures that the link from the sensors to the Bluetooth adapter is strong and continuous. The unit has a green light on the front panel to indicate it has power and a blue light that blinks when it transmits a signal.
This TPMS system includes batteries, locking nuts, O-rings, a wrench, and an adhesive. Once the batteries have been inserted, thread the locking nuts onto the valve stems, and install the sensors. Lastly, secure the locknuts against the sensors with the wrench.
The weatherproof and dustproof Bluetooth repeater can be installed anywhere on the exterior of your RV or trailer between the rear axle and king pin. The optimal mounting location for a towable camper is toward the front whereas the optimal mounting location for a drivable RV is toward the rear. it is not recommended to install the repeater inside your vehicle, as you might experience signal blockage. Use either the adhesive (included) or hardware (not included) to attach the repeater and wire it to a power supply line. In order to reduce vibration, make sure it's securely mounted. Then connect the black wire to ground, and the red wire to power.

Today we'll take a look at the TireMinder Smart TPMS monitoring system for the RVs and trailers with the Bluetooth adapter and the six flow through transmitters. Now this TPMS system will let your monitor your RV or your trailer's tire pressure, and temperatures straight from your smartphone and tablet using the TireMinder TPMS app. And you can get that app by going into the operating manual, and they have a QR code that if you scan that with your phone, you get your app on your phone. I happened to do that with my phone. I have an iPhone 8 plus here, and you can see the app showing there and shows you how to set it up, once you get it connected.
Now this is designed to work great on your MotorHome, your 5th Wheel or your trailer. You can get real time pressure and temperature notifications on your smartphone without having to add another device to the dash of your vehicle. And it's compatible with the iPhone, the iPad and the Android smart devices. It does require iOS seven and higher Android 4.4 and higher with Bluetooth 4.0 capability. Now this kit will include everything I got laid out here on the table.
We'll start with the Bluetooth adapter, the signal booster, the six flow-through transmitters with the six locking nuts and the locking wrench, and some replacement "O" rings. Comes with the AC/DC adapter with a micro USB cable. Gives you 12 extra CR1632 lithium batteries, and a nice storage bag to carry everything all together in one place. Now this Bluetooth adapter right here. This is designed to install anywhere on your vehicle within range of your smart device.
The maximum range is 30 feet. They do recommend to be within about 10 feet is the best. And that will allow you to connect to your smart device. Right here, the signal booster. This is a rhino signal booster, strengthens the sensor signal using the 433 MHz transmitters.
It eliminates electronic interference with other wireless devices. And this is fully weatherproof. It installs on the under carriage. It is designed to connect to a 12 volt and 24 volt DC power. Now, the sensors right here, that comes with six of 'em, and these are flow-through sensors so they'll let you monitor each tire individually. And because there are flow through, what's nice, it allows tires to be inflated or deflated without removing the sensor. You can leave your sensor locked onto your valve stem, and then just move the cap here. And it'll let you gain access to putting more air into your tires or removing air, whatever you need. Now, the sensors do install easily onto your tire's valve stems, and they do lock in place using these included lock nuts and the lock wrench to tighten them down so nobody can take the sensors off your valve stones. They are a nice brass construction. They are designed for use on rubber, steel, chrome, or nickel valve stems. And they are also very lightweight only about 0.7 ounces. So they eliminate the need to have to rebalance your tires. And they do use upgraded sensors to provide accurate reading within one PSI and they'll check the tire pressure and temperature every six seconds. Now, we do also sell additional sensors. If you'd need more to let your monitor up to 22 tires. And again, if you notice it comes with the extra "O" rings and the extra batteries, so if your battery wears out and you need to replace it, all you have to do is unscrew the cap right here. Your battery will install right in there. And then again, there's a little "O"ring that goes around the bottom here that you'll want to replace the same time you replace the battery. And then when you put your cap back on and tighten it down, it secures it, and you're all ready to go. Now it does come with this nice USB charger, which will plug into your vehicle's 12 volt accessory outlet using this side or on the back, you can pop down and you plug here and plug it into an AC wall outlet, comes with the micro USB charging cable. And we mentioned the nice storage bag to keep everything together. Now, a few specs on this, starting with the tire sensors, pressure range is zero PSI to 232 PSI Operating frequency is 433Mhz And the operating temperature range,4 degrees Fahrenheit up to 185 degrees Fahrenheit. The Bluetooth adapter here, this has a battery recharge time of about six hours. Give you a dimension on this. The width of it, try to two and a half inches. The height, including the antenna, all the way to the very top is gonna be right at about six inches. The depth of this is only gon' be right at three quarters of an inch. And the booster, the signal booster, the size on that, now, we're gonna include the antennas on that. So that's going to be height wise right at about four and a quarter inches tall. Width-wise, including the mounting tabs, two and a half inches. And the depth at the widest point, which will be at the top is about seven eighths of an inch. And if you notice, it does have a wire on it, and wire length is about three feet and it comes with the positive and negative alligator clips. Great product. Warned me when a tire had gotten damaged and was losing air. Was able to pull over and replace the tire before it shredded and did a lot of damage. I won’t travel without the Tire Minder.
Product worked as described. I’m still experimenting on where to place the booster but it seems to work anywhere I’ve placed it on the trailer. Setup was easy if you follow the instructions.
By the way, if you have never ordered from etrailer you will be impressed with their service.

This was easy to set up and gives such incredible peace of mind being able to see the trailer tire pressures and temperatures while towing. Works like a charm!
The pressure monitors were easy to install and setup. Using them on our first trip out since installing them. The peace of mind of being able to see the pressures and temperatures of the tire makes the trip less nerve-wracking. Despite the rough roads of New York and Pennsylvania the monitors have stayed securely on the valve stems.
This TPMS continues to work very well. The remote holds a charge for a long time. It is great being able to monitor my tires. I had a leak on one of the tires on my dual axel trailer, and the TPMS alerted me to the issue. I never would have picked up on it looking at the tires until it was too late.
Used on 26' Flagstaff with an F-150 tow vehicle and does not require the signal booster module. Works great with either iPhone or Android phone and you Do Not need to keep checking your phone for and problems... because the TPMS receiver provides beeping alerts if the pressure or temperature of any tire exceeds or goes below set press/temp levels. Phone will displays temp and pressure for each tire and allows for custom settings.
Would absolutely recommend.
After a year of use, and about 8,000 miles, our Tire Minder continues to work almost flawlessly on our 2-axle, 27-ft Airstream trailer. It certainly gives us confidence and peace of mind that all is going well. We have had a few occasional false alarms, but we've learned to wait a few minutes for a reset before panicking. We have yet to change the batteries in the sending units - still got the spares that came with the unit.
Overall an excellent product, definitely recommend to others.
Great TPMS for the cost. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars,is the frequent loss of connection between the sensors and monitor. At least once per trip, I have to remove and reinstall a sensor, following an alert. Not a huge issue, just annoying. I have checked the reported tire pressure and temp against a tire gauge and laser thermometer, VERY accurate readings.
I don't pull the motorhome out of the driveway without the TireMinder on. In other words "Don't leave home without it".
2015 F250 - Easy to configure, moderately difficult to install because of signal booster wiring. I was able to buy a 5th wheeler wiring harness and tie into existing modular outlet in the trucks wiring harness and avoid splicing. Functions great. Warned of a tire that was failing before a total blowout.
This is my second Class C and my third TPMS but by far the best of the three. My first TPMS was hard wired to its own independent mini screen and this Tire Minder is bluetooth enabled and works flawlessly thru my iPhone. My second unit is what I considered a Tire Minder wannabe. It was Bluetooth enabled and also worked thru a smartphone but it only monitored sporadically at best. Needless to say, it didn’t make the cut and was returned. I’ve taken two trips this year using this system and I could not be happier with its solid performance. It was incredibly easy to install and set up by using the directions from the included booklet and App. I also like how it goes into sleep mode but still runs in the background. The first trip had me nervous because I didn’t think the unit was working but l finally realized it was working as designed. This is a great TPMS and I highly recommend this product especially because of the peace of mind it brings mile after mile monitoring my air pressure and tire temperatures.
The TireMinder TPMS is not a very good system. It has drop offs all the time and when a wheel drops off, I have to go thru the process of completely resetting that wheel. It constantly also gives either high or low temp reading on certain tires. I’m not one to complain but you asked for a review. I’ve got everything set up to their specs with the repeater under the coach on the outside. Would not recommend this to anyone. The only thing good about it is that allows me to know what my psi on the tires are before I get on the road.
The hardware is well designed and well built. I like the repeater and the sensors are small and provide both pressure and temperature. Where the system as a whole failed was with the app software. If a trailer tire is losing pressure, I want to know about it so that I can address the issue quickly before there is a catastrophic failure. My expectation is for the app to raise an alarm that something serious is going on. However the TireMinder app only provides a single chime. The same notice one gets when receiving a text and then only if app is running in the foreground and the phone is not in do-not-disturb mode or asleep. In contrast the TireMinder app the Android clock app has a much more robust alarm for an event that it isn’t nearly as critical as a tire failure.
I had a flat tire on my last trip. After being camped (trailer unhooked) I had a flat tire on my trailer. I changed the tire and put the spare on. We were leaving that day so I stopped at a tire shop to get the flat fixed. The tire was perfect. The air leaked out of the TPMS monitor on the valve stem! Up to this point I thought the product was great. If anyone wants this Sysco to free come see me in Arizona before I throw it away. Do Not Buy This Product!!!
Excellent product and customer service! Accurate and reliable. CR1632 batteries are hard to find so buy extras. Batteries last for several months. Occasionally I get a no signal from the farthest transmitters so I keep fresh batteries in them. Easy to program and use. Booster and trailer tires are 30’ apart. Booster is very easy to install with alligator clips and tie wraps.
Timely product arrival, easy to install and works great on our 41 foot 5th Wheel. Knowing tire pressure is necessary for safe relaxing driving.
I used it on my first trip of the year with close to 3000 miles. This ended up being exactly what I was looking for:
- A reliable TPMS reading device
- Easy to use, install and secure
- The kit came with everything
- A BIG REQUIREMENT: It's mobile app has a display on Android Auto on my car's dash screen to visually see my tires' pressures and temps, which avoided velcro-ing a TPMS display unit to my dash board or making me look at my phone when I need to focus on pulling my trailer. I REALLY like this feature!
They provide good directions and it takes a little time to step through and calibrate the unit to my tires' pressure. Once I got that down, it was less worry driving knowing that if pressures got to high or a slow leak popped up I'd know instantly. I could look at my TV's android display and check in on my tires. On my second day the temps increased much higher than expected and I got notices/beeps that pressures were high and was able to stop at a rest stop and let some air out.
I knew I was asking a lot, but I was not disappointed!
This product works well from installation of the sensors to using it on the road. I mounted the booster near the front of my fifth wheel and monitor the tire pressures and temperatures through the app to Apple CarPlay. My only regret is not purchasing it sooner before I had a blowout. Had I owned it then, that situation would have been avoided.
I bought this brand in a different model and one of the units didn’t work in the first couple of months the vendor was very disappointing to work with but after contacting etrailer I knew it would be easy to make any purchase with confidence this particular unit seems to be working fine thank you etrailer
The system has worked very well. With our towed, we have 10 sensors, which gives us peace of mind while on the road.

Its still working well. I had to change 1 or 2 batteries, but thats to be expected.
